First Annual Jefferson Urology Symposium 2026

The purpose of this activity is to provide an update on the most current, state-of-the-art treatments in Urology. Specifically focused on centers of Excellence in GU Oncology and Robotics, Endourology and Stone Disease, BPH and Men's Health, GU Reconstruction. The lectures and discussions will focus on the updated guidelines and new ways to detect and treat these urologic conditions using the latest technology to deliver optimal care. It will also highlight best practices in office efficiency.

1. By the end of this conference, 90% of participants will state that they will change at least one thing in the practice in the care of the urology patient Discuss methods to help with the merger with a large institution
2. Describe methods to help with the merger a large institution
3. Discuss and debate different devices and new techniques for the management of kidney stones
4. Review topics of discussion.
5. Describe the different techniques and novel treatment options in Urologic Oncology
6. Discuss new techniques and medical management of different urologic cancers.
7. Describe the different techniques and novel treatment options in BPH and Men's Health
8. Review the benefits and appropriate uses of all major surgical treatments for BPH
9. Describe how to structure a workday so that nurses can work to the top of their licenses.
10. Describe the organization of a clinical team of MAs and nurses to ensure a seamless and efficient office.
11. Discuss how ProAct works and its benefits will be discussed.
12. Describe different procedures and duties a urology APC do in Pennsylvania
13. Discuss how to efficiently manage a large urology consultation service.
14. Describe the value and opportunities that exist in urology for APCs to work top of license.
15. Describe the nuances of HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) for prostate cancer.
16. Explore opportunities for the use of single port surgery in urology. Explain how 3D modeling in DaVinci surgery is changing the robotic world.
17. Discuss the latest technologies available in Mens Health and Reconstruction.
18. Discuss the nuances of HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) for prostate cancer.
