Overview

This course is intended for leaders with direct reports.

The course outlines the principles of Just Culture and how to operationalize those concepts as well as the Just Culture Algorithm in practice as a Leader and Manager. The attendees are provided with an algorithm. Course utilizes power point, video, examples, and sharing of personal experience. The algorithm is put into practice in class.


ACCME Objectives
  1. Identify how Just Culture aligns with LVHN mission, vision & values.
  2. Define values, expectations, and factors of system design and good design strategies
  3. List the principles of managing the three human behaviors. Identify the role of the Imposer, the tools they use, and the Subjective and Objective Standards.
  4. Apply a duty to find justice. Name each step of the Threshold agenda and each duty.
  5. Demonstrate proficient use of the Just Culture Algorithm.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. 100% of learners will return demonstration of accurate use of the Just Culture Algorithm in response to error scenarios.
  2. 100% of learners will be able to demonstrate how to navigate to online Just Culture Resources.
