DoFM Procedural Skills Workshop for Faculty Preceptors

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.00 hours)

This workshop is our annual event to provide procedural skills training and refresher training for attending faculty who precept residents within the LVHN DoFM department. This Spring 2026, our workshop will focus on procedural skillset of joint injections and toenail procedures.

1. Participants will show competency and mastery of common joint injections that are done in outpatient family medicine offices at LVHN by the completion of this SIM Center Workshop.
2. Participants will exhibit competency and mastery of toenail procedures done in outpatient family medicine offices at LVHN by the completion of this SIM Center Workshop.
3. Participants will have their privileges granted or renewed through LVPG Medical Staff for joint injections and toenail procedures, after this Workshop completion.

Lehigh Valley Health Network is accredited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  Lehigh Valley Health Network designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 4.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)^TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the educational activity.
