Dr. Nash is a healthcare leader with an unparalleled record of advancing population health and driving organizational success. During his 35-year career at Thomas Jefferson University, Dr. Nash was Founding Dean of the Jefferson College of Population Healththe first college of its kind in the nationand the Dr. Raymond C. and Doris N. Grandon Professor of Health Policy. A board-certified internist, he is internationally recognized for public accountability in outcomes, physician leadership development, quality improvement, and governance across sectors. In addition, Dr. Nash served nearly a decade on Humana Inc.s Board of Directors and continues to advise healthcare companies, including through Arsenal Capital Partners and FOX Rehabilitation. His work is widely recognized through publications, speaking engagements, and a 17-year MedPage Today column; he has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and edited 25 books.

1. Review the genesis of the Triple Aim and its evolution since 2008
2. Outline the challenges that the current delivery system faces with a special emphasis on the lack of a return on our 5Trillion investment.
3. Describe current strategies such as Value Based Care and aligning economic incentives to achieve improvements in the health of the public.
4. Offer predictions about the future structure of the system with a special emphasis on the impact of Artificial Intelligence.

1. Upon completion of this activity, learners will be able to describe the evolution of the Triple Aim and explain how valuebased care strategies, healthcare economics, and population health initiatives influence healthcare quality, outcomes, and cost. (Knowledge)
